Fast forward to today, where cellphones have gotten plenty smart. One factor should catch your eyes: Notice how different all the phones start looking around 2007. Wonder what happened then (cough! iPhone cough!)?
This infographic from Wilson Electronics (maker of cellular signal boosters for buildings and cars, so they know about these things) takes you from Dr. Martin Cooper’s laughable handset (that looked more like a cream-colored shoe than a phone) up to today’s darling of the moment, the Apple iPhone 4S.
Tell me in the comments how many of these cellphones you’ve used, which one was your favorite, and how you would compare your previous model to today’s latest phones.

I have never had a cellphone in my hands let alone have a cellphone of my own...:(.
ReplyDeletemy dad used to have an old nokia 6230 silver cell phone and it was like his favourite phone then and it used to,like when your watching a movie and the "dvd" part would move arounbd the screen and bounce off the side, well his phone did that except it said nokia in bold letters and i used to watch that all the time !lol !to me i couldnt live without my phone because its my way to connect to my family and friends and its like my life and its all i use every single day and i just would go nuts if i didnt have one! xD

The reason I coudn't live without my phone is its how I keep in contact with some of the people that I dont see that often and its how I talk to my friends and family when im not with them. I love the phone i have now . I dont let anyone touch my phone

DeleteFrom what I know I have only used like 2 or 3 in the picutre.I have had 1 cell phone once before but I don't know what happened to it but i might be getting a new one for my birthday I couldn't care for the use of them and i don't really want one.
ReplyDeleteI find the old phones funny and the new ones can be confusing and fun. I like the newer ones alot but it would be interesting to try an old brick phone.

ReplyDeleteThe old cellphones look weird compared to our cellphones now a days. I have had 3 cellphones. I still currently have one and I just love my cellphone. In the olden days, I learned the brick phone was only used for calling, now we have Iphones and smartphones for calling,texting,online,e.t.c. I agree with what Jordan says about people spending alot of time on their phone, but their so addicting. I think I won't be able to live without my phone because its like a computer and you can just about do anything like a compputer can. Its portable and its just amazing.
ReplyDeletethe old cell phones are really big i couldnt handel having a phone that big. My dad has this flip phone that he still uses and it has a thingey you have to pull up when he calls someone, its really old school. But me iv had 2 cell phones they were both slide phones,my sister has a blackberry so her and I have newer phone than my dad .
ReplyDeleteout of all of these cell phones i have only had one but i have used at least two cell phones on this !!:) i couldnt live without my phone because it is like my life! i use it to talk to friends and family and to keep in touch with them also !!:D
ReplyDeleteilike new phones because youcan to so much more play games,text,call,email,IM e.c.t.But my phone is a part of me if i could i would use it 24/7 buti have school. my phone is how i keep in contact withmy family, and friends.

I can't live without my phone because I love being able to talk to people at all time,like people I can't see often I can just text them. I'm also the kind of girl who loves to go outside and hangout with people! So my mom calls my phone or texts me whenever she wants me home.
